We called George out to help replace a broken spring in our single car garage about two weeks ago. I called a few different companies and many of them wanted to charge just to come out and assess what my needs were with my garage door, while others said I'd certainly have to replace my garage door opener. The best - very prompt! Had to get a custom wood door due to me backing into it. He came over right away, fixed it so we could use it then was helpful in finding a replacement. We had to order a customer made wood door due to HOA. It came sooner than expected. He installed it the same week (cedar) in one day. It was beautiful installed and even more stained. We had our garage door break and get lodged in the track to the point that we could not get it to close. This was on a Sunday afternoon. Jorge came by within an hour. Extremely professional, described everything, gave us options on if we wanted to replace the related / same aging parts that could fail similarly or just get it working. He had the whole thing fixed, including replacing all of those related parts (cables, rollers) in a shockingly short amount of time. By the time he left, door was working better than it has in a long time, maybe ever. Quieter, closes tighter,..... Jorge is Great. I was out of town the first time we used him. Our big double garage door came off the tracks. My wife was panicked because she couldn't get it closed. We live in the country and she was afraid of critters getting into the garage. She called Jorge and he was there first thing the next morning and got it fixed. I used him again yesterday to fix the doors in the barn which I hit with the tractor. He was on other jobs but could meet me later in the evening. I woke up to the springs on my garage door broken. I called around to a few places to get estimates and availability for getting this fixed. George was able to provide a fair estimate and was able to provide same day service. He was on time and his professional attitude and attention to detail were fantastic. George had swapped out the springs in no time and had everything working perfect. In addition, without asking, he oiled some of the noisier components, which we immediately noticed. He further pointed out the metal rollers on our garage could be swapped out with rubber ones to make it even quieter. For a little extra, we got not only our garage door fixed, but a much quieter door. Of any service call we’ve ever made to any company, he’s got our highest rating. I called a guy I found on Craigslist who told us he couldn't repair the old garage, we should pull up some website he muttered (didn't bother to write it down), and never called back. After some procrastination I tried again and found George. Within 48 hrs. he arrived on time to our appt, had a book of photos so I could view my options, gave me a fair guaranteed price, came back and installed the door when he said he would. He is a great find and you won't be disappointed. A garage door is not a fun investment, but after the fact we're pretty pleased with how it upgrades the curb appeal of our house.
